You can easily set up public and private limited liability companies in Portugal by following these steps:

  • Verify the company name and make a reservation with the Portuguese Trade Registry.
  • Appoint a legal representative for your company in Portugal.

5) Our full-time lawyer will create an online immigration account at S.A.P.A. and submit all necessary documents.

6) Wait for the immigration office to confirm your residence permit application requirements. After confirmation, the USCIS will send you an email to confirm your request. We need to choose the most recent appointment location, date and time.

7) On the appointment date, you need to display all the demand documents. We will obtain the latest copies of all documents for presentation to the immigration office. The officer will collect your biometric data and make a digital photo. After the interview, you will receive the agreement number and statement, and you must wait for the decision within 60 days. They will mail your residence permit card to your home address. Time may vary, depending on government processing time.

The total time to obtain a D2 visa, personal documents, company establishment and residence permit application is about 8 to 12 months, depending on the government processing time.
