Why do I think Amsterdam is the best city to start a business and support a family?

· Company Formation,Company Services,Trends

Before starting company in Amsterdam, I worked for many large companies in different countries such as Hong Kong, Beijing, London, Amsterdam and Luxembourg.

Like many others, my first impression of Amsterdam was the red light district and the legal pot. However, when I learned about the city, I fell in love with it. Amsterdam is such a beautiful city with a rich culture and history. It has many museums that showcase paintings; masterpieces created by Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh, countless canal houses, each with a unique character and many bicycles, most of them use these Bicycles are used as everyday vehicles.

Amsterdam offers excellent infrastructure. Schiphol Airport is only half an hour from the centre of Amsterdam, and the high-speed trains are connected to many cities such as Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Zurich. In addition, by the end of 2017, Eurostar will begin a new high-speed direct train service from Amsterdam to London. It is such a beautiful center in this part of Europe. Through this good connection, people can easily take an early train to Brussels or London for a business meeting, and still have enough time to pick up your child from school or day care.

The Dutch education system is one of the best in the world. The school is free to all children over the age of 4. The Dutch believe that the most effective way to learn is through games, and most primary schools (Basicsschool) only teach children to read and write from the age of six. Compared with other countries, it may be considered to be late. Based on personal experience and having spent the same working life in Europe and Asia, the Dutch are one of the most competitive and innovative countries in the business world.

It is fast and affordable to do business in the Netherlands; all necessary documents can be submitted to the notary in advance in one day. Amsterdam's workforce is highly skilled and educated. Most Dutch (young or elderly) speak English very well. You don't need to learn Dutch until you settle down.

In addition, the Dutch government provides a good business environment and attracts business owners and start-ups from around the world. There is no doubt that 176 different nationalities live and work here - this diversity is unique in any city!
